E' all'inizio del 2000, in Turchia, durante un periodo di tre anni trascorso tra Istanbul ed Izmir, che incontro il Tango. Ed è passione immediata. Al mio rientro in Italia inizio a studiare intensamente, affascinato non solo dalle meccaniche del ballo ma anche dalla storia del tango e dei suoi grandi autori, spinto dalla passione per la musica che da sempre mi accompagna.
Nel 2005 inizia una bellissima l’avventura: insieme a Paolo Anselmi e Giuseppe Bianchi facciamo nascere l’associazione culturale “Tango independiente” e contemporaneamente inauguriamo la “Milonga independiente”, la prima milonga di grandi dimensioni aperta a Roma (pista di 700 mq circa).
Il successo e’ immediato! In due stagioni grandi eventi di Tango si susseguono senza sosta; i più importanti artisti internazionali si esibiscono insieme a superbe orchestre, con la presenza dei migliori DJs’ - SuperSabino, Damian Boggio, Horacio Godoy, Punto y Branca, Gibo, Sergio Chiaverini e tanti altri - che si alternano alla consolle della Milonga Independiente durante serate e Festivals.
Questa esperienza esaltante e difficilmente ripetibile, mi permette di trovarmi a contatto con i migliori e di ascoltare, studiare, imparare.
Con la preziosa guida di Damian Boggio e Super Sabino, approfondisco la storia dei grandi autori del Novecento, la tecnica di selezione, l'originalità delle sequenze e la sensibilità necessaria alla ricerca della "buena onda" in pista.
L'interesse per la conoscenza di diverse esperienze mi porta a viaggiare e a conoscere le milonghe più importanti d’Europa: Berlino, Budapest, Varsavia, Mosca, Parigi, Londra, Istanbul, fino ai Paesi Baltici per conoscere e ascoltare il fermento musicale che caratterizza il Tango Europeo.
Nel 2007 inauguriamo a Roma anche la “Milonga del Barrio”; inizio così a musicalizzare nelle due locations con serietà e dedizione. La Milonga del Barrio diventa in poco tempo il punto di riferimento dei Tangueros romani.
Poi inizia anche l’avventura "fuori casa": il Choco Tango Festival di Perugia, il Festival di tango di Minori, Tangocamp, alcune tango maratone.
Nell’anno in corso sono già stato invitato a musicalizzare nel contesto di diversi importanti eventi: il Festival di Tango di Alghero, Tangocamp 2010, il Roma Tango Meeting 2010, il Choco Tango Festival 2010 di Perugia, il primo Roma Festival e il Tango Fusion di Bellaria Rimini. Sono inoltre in corso contatti per vari festival di tango in Europa.

It’s in the early 2000, in Turkey that I meet “Tango” during a period of three years spent between Istanbul and Izmir. The passion is immediate! Back in Italy I start with an intense study, being fascinated not only by the dance itself but also of the story of the Tango, of its protagonists and its splendid music, guided also by my old passion for all kind of music.
From 2005, togheter with Paolo Anselmi and Giuseppe Bianchi, we constitute “Tango Independiente ” – the tango cultural association - and we open at the same time the famous “Milonga independiente”, the first big (700 sq.mt.) Milonga in Rome.
In two unforgettable seasons of important events, one after another: the most famous international artists perform their exibitions to the “Independiente”, Sebastian Arce y Mariana Montes, Horacio Godoy, Alejandra Mantinan are some of them; superb Orchestras like Otros Aires, Morgado cuarteto, Silencio Orquesta . Great Milongas and international events with the best DJs’ : SuperSabino, Damian Boggio, Horacio Godoy, Punto y Branca, Gibo, Sergio Chiaverini and others.
This incredible and lucky experience let me to be in close contact with great DJs’ and improve my knowledge of the art of the Musicalizadores. With the precious help and guidance of Damian Boggio and Supersabino I enlarge my knowledge of the great authors of ‘900, the technique of dj, the right sequences and how to reach the “buena onda” on the floor.
I also had the pleasure to visit the most important Milongas in Europe: Berlin, Istanbul, Budapest, Warsaw, Moscow, Paris, London, and the milongas in the Baltic countries, to better understand the "musical trend" of the Tango in Europe.
In 2007 we open in Roma a second place: “the Milonga del Barrio”; I started to DJs in both the locations with great apply. The Milonga del Barrio become in short time a must for the tangueros (and not only) in Rome.
Then starts the adventure out of my City: ”Choco Tango Festival di Perugia, “ Festival di Tango di Minori, Tangocamp ‘09, some Tango marathons. For the current year I’ve been invited as DJ in some important Tango events : Festival di Tango di Alghero, Tangocamp 2010, Roma Tango Meeting 2010, Choco Tango Festival 2010 Perugia, the first “Fabrica Roma ” Festival and the Tango Fusion di Bellaria, Rimini. Contacts are ongoing for some European Festivals.

Technical notes:
Normally I use a pc, sometimes cd players. I have all the originals in my private collection.
My sequence is traditional as follows: T(c)T(c)V(c)T(c)T(c)M(c); when I feel the right situation, I also like to play some Tango Nuevo tandas (usually only 2), I also like some electromilonga (i.e. otros aires ..).
